New SMWG Organizing Team

As we begin 2026, we are pleased to share an update regarding the coordination of the Seed Microbiome Working Group (SMWG). Since its foundation, the SMWG has grown into an active and diverse community of early career researchers interested in all aspects of seed microbiome research. To support the continued growth and activities of the SMWG, the group is now coordinated by an organising team composed of Gillian Bergmann, Cristian Salinas-Castillo, and Carolina Lobato. Together, the organising team will oversee and support SMWG initiatives, including community meetings and collaborative activities. We look forward to continuing to foster collaboration, discussion, and knowledge exchange within the seed microbiome community.
